The Animals are Busy Getting Ready for Winter

Posted By: Edi Osborne on 12/14/2009

We have oak trees. Lots of them. We also have quail, squirrels, bobcats, gophers, etc. Every Autumn, as the acorns fall to the ground, we see an extraordinary amount of activity among our local creatures, as they gather reserves for the long cold winter. They know instinctively that they only way they can survive the lean times is to make the most of times of plenty.

Accountants on the other hand, are often so absorbed in the tasks of tax season, they miss the opportunity to gather fuel for the long hot, slow summer. Tax season is your time of plenty. You have plenty of contact with clients coupled with plenty of information to review and discuss. What appears to be in short supply is plenty of time. That means you have to focus on harvesting as much opportunity as possible  every minute you are with a client during tax time.

Recently I presented a two hour webinar in conjunction with www.accountingweb.com and CPELink; "Ditch the Return, The 5 Key Measures to Talk About. My New Year's gift to you is the opportunity to review the webinar at no charge. (others paid $69).

I expect you will gain valuable insights about how you can make the very most of your busy season. Please take advantage of the opportunity to view this FREE webinar.(2 hours)>>
